This A3113 came with liquid damage, on both motherboard (minor) and display. I cleaned the motherboard with IPA and replaced the display, after which it worked fine, except Touch ID.
When you touched the button it read a few lines but never enough to complete the registration. The red lines disappeared when you removed your finger. So, I first replaced the touchid button (same issue) and then the interconnect board (same issue). At some point even pressing or holding the home button didn't work anymore.
To make matters worse (or more interesting) now it got itself into a boot loop, where halfway through the progress bar it would reboot again. To me this is quite strange, because after I cleaned the motherboard the first time I even ran a stress test for several hours to test its stability (and also check thermal performance because I had to take off the heatsink).
So it seems the Touch ID and interconnect board are fine, but the motherboard has an issue. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Where should I start?
