I am working on a liquid-damaged A3114 logic board. I traced a short to UF100, the USB-C retimer. Removal of UF100 got rid of the short and the machine starts up and functions well. Are there any known issues for replacing the retimer chip? Can I grab one from a similar donor board or are there different chip types or OTP-type issues?
