Hello,

I'm fixing this motherboard. When connected to power supply only or battery only, power led lights on and fans spin for half a second every 5/6 seconds, corresponding to a general voltage drop to 0V on the logic board.
I started to follow tracks ftrom DCIN but I feel this may take ages... Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

hI,

PU4201 : ok --> AD_JK=AD+=19.22V a,nd PWR_AD+_2=6.35V
PL4501 = 0V on both sides + continuity
PL4502 = 0V on both sides + continuity

I discovered some trouble with TPS51285ARUKR-GP. I only have 18.5V on one pin (my guess is DCBATOUT) and it's damned hot. The inductors are quite very hot as well.

disconnect a pin of PL4502, and where it will go for the short, or remove TPS51285ARUKR-GP. to remove the short is.

Well I managed to toast a chip : HPA02224RGRR-1-GP
Problem is I couldn't find this chip so I bought the same non working PCB and I'm now waiting for the delivery.

Is there any recommended place to buy these more advanced components ?

I think to buy them in the same forum there is a section for business, open a thread, if not on aliexpress or maybe ebay.
