Apple MacBook A2681 / Board 820-02536-A / Stuck at 5v 0.42a

We have MacBook Pro that has power consume 5v 0.42A. Now we removed board and it still show has power consume 5v 0.42A. Please advise what should we check next?

The Macbook Pro does not have a water damage or any other visible damage. Everything looks new and good.

when we plug USB-C power this one chip Q5800 gets hot 40C.
and there is short circuit on coil L5800 - P3V8AON_VSW1, PP3V8AON_PH1 0ohm short on ground.

No good news to have short on 3V8_AON.
You can use voltage injection method to find the culprit.

we did volt injection 2v 0.4a on 3V8_AON. nothing changes on IR camera. what is the power current limit for volt injection on 3V8_AON.?

There is no power current limit.
As I always said, set amp limit to max.
You can increase the voltage until 4.2V...
