Hi,
Of course this happens on a device (Macbook Air) "opened" by someone else before, I have no idea what they did but this fragile cable loved to separate from its connector on first touch
Is there any chance of restoring this or once they separate it breaks some kind of a seal?
I got the cable back in its casing with a near perfect seal between the white part of the coax cable and the black plastic inside of the connector There is about 0.25mm of distance. Will this be sufficient or it just as useless as having no cable plugged in? I really don't feel like swapping the display as it would most likely make the costs more then the device is worth
