Fan speed 820-00165

Yes, just replaced the trackpad connector.
No change. Still boots into OS fine.

Fan starts slow and just ramps up to MAX 6800 RPM.
Battery temps 129C in HWMonitor

I used a trackpad connector from a donor board.

I now am looking at:

U5810
SMC

OK Replaced

U5810
U5620

Re-seated all keyboard/trackpad connectors.
Did an SMC reset

Still have fan at 6300

Airflow TEMP: 128
BAT SENSOR temps: 128

Machine boots into OS
Fan starts slow and as the OS appears the fan ramps up to max speed and stays there.

OK I just did that
Fan instantly dropped to normal speed at around ~1200
Seems to run fine.
Ran fine for 2 hours testing.

Any thing else you can think of to try?

I was hoping to avoid an SMC reball etc.
SMC reflow?

ASD (EFI) shows no SMC error.

AIRFLOW TEMP sensor shows at 128C

Could this be: Q5830? bad

Could be anything on the same bus.
Even PCH can have internal problem, or bad connections on that bus.
Change all is possible.
If still the same, explain to the client how to use the fan control software...

FYI U5660

Pin 6: 0V on diode mode to ground
R5663 is 13K (schematic says 20K)
R5661: 15K (schematic says 27K)
R5662: 1 K
R5666: 0.4
R5668: 0.4

"Pin 6: 0V on diode mode to ground"
That is a problem; change U5660.

Resistors measured onboard will give lower values than expected; depending of nominal value and circuit design.

"R5663 is 13K (schematic says 20K)"
Seems that you've measured this out of board; as you have short on board...
