GPU Imac 27 2009-2011

I want to buy some iMac 27 from 2009 to 2011. Some dual core, some i7.
Can I interchange GFX card between them later?

You should not do that as it will cause temp/current sensor issues. When an unsupported card is installed it will give image and seem to work fine but there will be no thermal control and the card will slowly cook itself.
Why do you want to swap video cards anyway?

Because some are faulty and need to take good cards from faulty motherboards to assembly full working iMac. So, no solution?

Depending on which GPU is in there some cards can be fixed if chips are available. 6970m is hopeless and 4850m too. Which ones do you have?

Compatible chip, the 0949 chips I have used in the past and are real new ones.

I got one new GFX card from Apple 512MB. It has 216-0810005 chip there. I can use it only for 2011? Or I can use it for 2009-2011

Only use that one for 2011 models or there will be no thermal control and card will overheat.

I also cannot interchange screen 2009-2010. One cable is not the same...

you can swap out the PCB on the LCD between all 27" screen to make that work.
