Hp g6 no mouse

Hi guys, I know this isn't a macbook, but I'm running out of ideas.

I have a hp g6 come in for no mouse problem.
I've googled the issue and found a few different solutions, how ever the ones I've tried didnt work.

I've tried another trackpad, didnt work.

I figure it's a board issue.

One of the YouTube clips I watched was in a different language which I under stool 7% of.
seemed he was blaming the CPU.

I have to hp g6
this one I'm talking about and another I got in a year ago with a USB problem, it never got fixed and customer left it with me..

anyone else had this issue wissua hp g6 ?

Yes on both pins.
however R254 is 3.396v on one side and 17.6mv on the other
and its looks suspect.

Can I run a jumper from pin 1 that has the 3.396v to pin L39 ?

Is that resistor super important ?

The other g6 I have has a USB problem, I would love to fix!
So not super ksun on using it as a doner.
however I have Heaps of doner iPhone boards if they have the same value

Ok I swapped the r251 from my other board, reason I swapped that instead of R254 is because I got the same reading on both boards 17.6mv so figured they was both no good checked the schematics to find a match, R251 is a match according to the schematics I have.

Swapped it over just to get the same reading.
so I'm still getting 17.6mv even after swapping R251 with R254.

There must be a problem on TPCLK signal.
I cant find a board view for this laptop.

Check if keyboard has a comination (Fn + something else) to enable/disable touchpad.
Sometime could be a separate button near the touchpad.
Or just a small hole marked point to doble click it.
Also look in Bios Setup for such option...

I tried a reinstall of windows and that achieved nothing, figured if it was toggled of by function off-key it would have reset it to the on position.
I've checked bios and there is not much in there.

Both laptops have the same problem.
the g6 I already had originally had issue with the USB ports.
You could o ly use one at a time.

I will post diode to ground on them two lines tomorrow morning.
its 11pm here, im of to bed.

I really appreciate the time you invest into helping direct me, and not just me but everyone.

Be blessed, talk tomorrow

did you start with reflashing EC+Main Bios? do you have "advanced" mode for trackpad in bios settings?

"TPCLK is 0.00i4"
???
Compare with a good board; supposedly should be less than 1% diference.
Check the value w/ and w/o touchpad connected.

Too low value on TPCLK, practically short...
Check what I told above.
Also remove C509 and check again.
If still low, bad KBC.
