Just started messing with iPads this week. Did a couple Tristars without problems, until this iPad Air 2.
Tristar tester tells me it's bad, so I replace with 1610A2. Plug in the tester, and the flex passes, then the tristar passes. I put it all back together... won't charge or detect the cable. Plug in the tester again, and it tells me the flex is bad. Change the flex, still bad.
So, I start over, replace the tristar again. Plug in the tester, and the flex passes, then the tristar passes. For shits and giggles, I test again. Flex cable now fails.
