The Mac Came in about 1 month back. PPBUS at 8.17. U5010 voltages stable - in short SMC Issue.
Customer didn't approve the cost and was lying with me for about a month.
Today he approved and open up the machine.
Its ON. PPBUS at 8.5V and fan spin normal. But it is heating up on the back side.
Turns out U3550 heating up. Wifi not working as a result.
I have changed a couple of U3550 but as soon as i install the chip its shorted and start heating. Without the chip - the points there have good diode mode readings.
Since it was previously a SMC issue- can it be a possibility that the SMC_WIFI_PWR_EN is creating an issue ?
