Hello,
I have a Macbook A2141 that came in for "Not Getting On".

It draws 20V on the amp meter. Customer showed it to some shop and they said that it is a SSD Issue.

I can see a few Caps repalced like C9589 / C9587.

Can we verify if its actually a SSD issue or not or if it can be brought back to life.

Compare diode mode readings on SSD power lines with good board.
What voltages did you check on the MLB?

PPBUS_G3H is 12.6V.
PP2V5_NAND_SSD0 is 2.5V
PPBUS_G3H_SSD0_SNS is 12.6V.

SSD Power Rails Means all 0v9 , 1v8 and 2v5 SSD Lines as per the schematics right ?

Yes.

No need to check other PPBUS points; can't get different readings.

I expected some voltage reading on the big coils; RAM, PCH, CPU...

the machine was detected in recovery mode. Forced it into DFU Mode. But it shows an error during restore Invalid State.
Then it automatically went into Recovery Again, did a restore again. I got a apple logo with loading bar (almost 90% Full already).
It is stuck half way at Step 4 of 4 : Installing System

Gave up waiting for device to transition from RestoreOS state to BootedOS state. [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore – 0xFC9 (4041)]

Use 96/140W charger.
Connect charger cable before DFU cable.
Also let the battery connected too.

Force machine off and start in DFU, not recovery.

Followed the instructions but i got this error.
Device added from invalid state Restoring - This means that either we got a disconnection during restore, or we got the connect event twice [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore – 0xFAA (4010)]

One more thing. When i pluggged in the charger first (battery connected) i got a brief Battery sign and fan spin.

It again showed up in recovery mode. This time with the charger plugged in i did a restore and it was successful. The machine got on with the question mark folder. Doing an internet recovery . Updating when done.

Are you using 96/140W charger?
The battery takes charge?
Any error pops up starting in diagnostic mode?

I am using a 96W charger.
I assume its taking charge as the device is running off the battery alone.

Diagnostics Mode -

No Issue Found
