Device was water damage in the screen and had come for screen repair. Heavy water marks in the back light.
I removed the lcd and installed another lcd to test and the machine didn't boot. I thought maybe the lcd was faulty and tried another one. Still the same. PPBUS is 12.6V. I tried DFU revive but the fan kept on spinning and then the device turned off and the AC2 gave the Padlock sign.
Upon inspecting the J8500. EDP_INT_AUX_N is 0.007 in diode mode to ground.
I REMOVED J8500. SHORT STILL REMAINS.
CPU fried ?
