Macbook Pro 15 inch, 2016 w/touchbar A1707 Wont install OS "critical update needed"
So as stated in the tittle i cannot get the OS to install.
when i boot into recovery the hard drive wont show up. when i boot into OS using external drive i can use it just fine it even detects the ssd and lets me reformat it but when i try installing the os while im inside an OS n an external drive it will freeze and the macbook will shut off and restart with an error message saying something went wrong. then it tried to boot up from the internal drive into the os but just loops at the "critical update required screen with a shutdown or try again option.
wanted to see if anyone has found a fix for this before i decided to open it up and look for signs of damage. everything work fine on external drive which is why i suspect this is just a software issue. maybe bad smc or ssd? but when i boot into hardware diagnostics no errors come up.
Update: so i checked out the log and I get this

seems like a kernel panic? possibly caused by the nvme which is most likely the ssd?
