Ah ok, I guess ACOK from ISL6259 stays high after disconnecting the adapter. Check for corrosion around ISL and clean it. Replace ISL if problem still there.

No, u6901 is probably fine.
Measure ACOK from ISL when it is running on the battery.

What is resistance from ACOK to PP3V42? I still think it is bad ISL6259 it should be pulled low by that.

That is very wrong. It could be U6901, remove it and check resistance again.
