MBP 13 Touchbar 820-00239-A - Water damage

So, this is my first Touchbar. I was hoping something "easier" would pop out, but it is what it is.

As for history, water went through keyboard. 12 pictures are attached where corrosion was found.

I still haven't done my homework on newer Macbooks, so I was hoping if this one could be a "noob" guide from start to hopefully happy end.

So what are your first thoughts?

Very uggly...
This could be a wasting time, or even nightmare.
You need to clean the board (UC) and rebuild all traces and probably need to change some components too.

Show how LCD connector looks.

Liquid near the LCD connector is likely going to be bad. How do the controller chips above the CPU look? If they are corroded, or the LCD cable is burned, this is done for.

Ok then this has a prayer. You can alcohol and toothbrush that junk by the DC in connector. Do you have a USBC ampmeter? I?d recommend one for these new guys. Start with basics voltage on PPDCIN_G3H?

I don't have USB-C meter. I guess I have to get that one first. As for the board, I've got enough time with it, even to order and wait for new components.

I have to get the UC too...
