NAND/eMMC Chip readers

Hello everyone.
i found something pretty cheap and interesting on amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/eMCP-SD-ALL...allsocket+EMMC

https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B073372MYY/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&smid=A1O3G3T2BLV2EY&th=1

is there any chance to skip the form-factor nightmare and just buy ll these suspiciously cool guys?
and uh, also, will it get me into a nightmare of combining two or more chip images in case they were working in raid-like manner or it could be just glued together and mounted as an image?

Which chips are you trying to read? Most have encryption and/or compression so there is no useful data to be extracted from SSDs directly from the NAND.

well afaik not all SSD use hardware encryption, also i have no idea if it is implemented in MAC SSD. chip readers are quite popular with phone data recovery, so i was wondering if it worth giving a shot for SSDs

Waste of time especially if there is more than 1 NAND and unknown encryption/compression. On an android phone this is possible is some cases but forget about SSDs like that.
