Hey Dudefawks,
i am very thankful for your help and can present a first success. I tried powering up by pads, it is working and showing me the question symbol.I am not sure if i should hear any sound before installing any operating system. Before going on (i forgot to take the screws for the heatsink on cpu and gpu with me as well as the operating system on usb and cd) i would like to fix the power button. Is that one damaged or maybe an IC on the board. with one could i measure or point?
One again thanks a lot until now and still for helping me.
There is no power button to fix, it is part of the keyboard. Check if keyboard is properly plugged in and if connector is undamaged. If all ok then probably the keyboard is bad.
Ok i will check it, as i tried a smc reset, it doesnt answer on the keyboard combination. One more sign on a fault by the keyboard. I will keep you up to date.
I tried several times to put in again the flex cable of the keyboard, i also cleaned it and the connector. Nothing changed. I will order a new keyboard and try with that one. If it doesnt work, should be a problem on the logicboard.
UPDATE:
Macbook started with one of my HDD that already has snow leopard installed. Backlight of the keyboard is working as well as some of the buttons, especially the right side does not work, including power button. Lets wait for the new keyboard. I am looking forward to use a fully working macbook.
