Hello all !:p
I try to find a solution for these problems:
Magsafe connected (green light ok)--->board boot--->shutdown--->boot and finally acces to OSX--->no battery detected and no batterry indicator lights.(no water damage).
I have 820-2915 K91X_MLB BRD file and soft+k91f_820-2915_revb PDF..

I have try to understand few video that addresses this problem, but can't understand everything... I'm french and I hope that you can guide me in this exploration.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I have check around U7000 chip for Resistance/smd ceramic page 63 of 101(page Pbus Supply & Battery charger) I just have exchange 2 resistances(R7021 & R7022 because not 10Ω was present after desoldering..)
I have desoldering U7000 (ISL6259) check few tracks finally resoldering this chip.I did not find anything wrong.about that. (tell me if I'm wrong;)).
I have somes questions for differents mesures:
Why in place C7056/C7057/C7050 have 2.55mFarads on tester while components are ok?The same for C7011--->0.000536µF in place and desoldering 0.049µF so I decide to change it for 0.02µF(normaly 0.01µF ±10%, in pdf). /C7000 2.7µF in place and 1,2µFdesold..
I observed a decrease in voltage in pins 7,8,9 of battery connector(J6950)--->3.42V to 0V...??
So I have R7039 and C7039 are missing on my board, and present on the board view (it's not grave if I don't have the good revision of board view or pdf?)
I'm happy to post here.
Thanks in advance for your help.
See you soon.

Battery indicator doesn't works???? Check pull-up resistors R5280-R5281... What voltage do you have on pins 4 and 6 from J6950???

Hello !
yes Battery indicator doesn't works, and my battery is too low (probably dead now...because test in another macbook and say battery not charging...).

Mesures ( no magsafe connected)
R5280= 1.7k‎Ω and R5281=1,98k‎Ω (normaly 2k‎Ω ±5% in pdf)
I connected magsafe mac boot , and R5280 is 0Ω on tester!!!!! and R5281=2k‎Ω a problem with R5280??????

PINS 4=3.42V and PINS 6=0,76V (constant voltage of D6950 is it ok for you????)
If you need picturs or other mesures tell me!!!!!
Thanxs a lot

(apple hardware test; 4SNS/1/40000000:VPOR-15.905 )
4SNS: System sensor
V=?
P=Power Bus
O=Optical drives(normal)
R=?
I have test with another battery charged and another BIL connector but no boot with battery (middle charged).

Measure on diode mode pin 4 and 6 on the battery connector. This is probably a dead SMC.

Stop applying power and measuring things, you will destroy the board!!!

Don't worry about that sensor for now, it is reading a little low. I bet you are using a fake China charger.

Magsafe discon. ....
Mode diode mesure on pin 4 and 6:
pin 4 =1
pin 6 =between 595 and 504.

it's not d6950?
just a question:
if dust is present during use mac, the SCM can overheated and cracked solder balls?it's possible that the smc rework after infrared or hot air gun heat?
order new DF2117RVPLP20HV SMC (U4900)be there soon...

I have change ISL6259, and no detect battery after boot to OSX.(I have clic on battery indicator and mac shutdown immediatly..?)
I must change SMC now and must wait 2 weeks....
if you have tests to wonder..... for confirm (SMC problem) or around smc, or about d6950?
thanks

Ordering a new F2117 is not going to help you. It has internal firmware and needs to be taken from a donor board.
Also this board should not shut down just clicking on things.....I suspect there is a lot more wrong with this board.

ok .....:(
and change the smc (with internal firmware to be taken from a donor board) + find the rest.....
I shall give to your experience, or should I explore, I'm available ....
