With ORIGINAL ROM chip quarter fan spin
With DONOR ROM chip - boots fine.
ORIGINAL ROM chip is N25q064a.
As i don't use the TL866 very often so i found another TEST N25q064a (from a MBP 15" 2012) to play with first to make sure i could remember how to do it.
The TEST N25q064a i can get the TL866 to ID and to read the rom so i moved onto the ORIGINAL rom
The ORIGINAL N25q064a does not ID and shows all data as blank.
So my question is can i use the DONOR rom and clean that ME region to do the job - i realise this is not ideal but would it work ?
