Hi all,

got in a MacBook stil wet, alot of wet.
cleaned it out, no signs of damage maby because it came in wet and the spill happend like 10 minutes before.

now its up and running nice and smooth.
but the battery percentage is jumping when the charger is pluged 100% when unpluged 91% (or less depends on usage)

then i plugin the charger pling 100% again.


works great on charger and on battery but the percentage is jumping.
any idear.

yes 2, know good ones, and just had one new come in today, all the same issue.

also replaced the charge port same thing

Is it only on the login screen this thing happens or have you tried logging into the system and make a reboot?

Run the battery diagnostic in AST? Check for hidden corrosion on the joints of U7100 and surrounding components. I have had a completely clean board have one speck of corrosion on the ISL6259 chip.

i also login and reboot multiple times,.
then after swapping battery and charger poort again multiple times.

I would suspect corrosion under the SMC.
