No liquid and no evident impact. Nothing gets hot.

PPBUS is 12.3V
No S5 rails
3V42 is 3V42 green light no orange

I'm thinking SMC... .....?

You recon an 820-3476 SMC will work on this board? I only have good 820-3536 boards.

They are the same. First check SMC_RESET. Also good chance there is just crap under it, so reflow/reball first,
