[SOLVED]A1465 super slow; cursor lags

Hello everyone, i got a macbooka1465 that lags a lot when you move the cursor. The lagging is so bad that you can see the path of the cursor. is this some related to the gnu or current sensing resistor

Have you tried running ASD?

Yeah, run EFI version of ASD if this is a pre 2014 model of course. Else run internal diagnostic by holding down "D"

i tried to the diagnostics and the only error i get is " the battery requires service Ref codept004". Its noting too useful. can anyone one point me in the right direction?

Well, try another battery....

Yeah a battery stuck at 0% will cause lag.

I tried a new batteru thatvwas 50% charged and same shit. Wth is causing this? Its driving me nuts

What board is this? Is it still supported by EFI version of ASD. It must be a sensor issue.

The screen wasn't good. It was causing lagging issues. I replaced the screen and now it's working properly. No more lagging. The sensors were fine. You may mark this post as solved. Thanks for the help!

That is weird. Did you try to just unplug the camera, that is what usually causes issues.

Duke, Im still experiencing the same issue with the camera disconnected. It works properly with a new one FYI. You can close this post
