[SOLVED]iPhone 5S Not Seeing SIM Card

So I pull out the U5_RF and now everything works fine. My question is, what is that? & if it is working fine, do I have to put it back in?

It is just ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection.. do not worry about it......

How come when it was in it did not work. But now that it is out, it works?

(stupid question: duh, because it was no good - LOL).

But thank you for your reply : ) I thought it was like a logic gate or something.

Took forever to find the problem, but I did. Think I'm starting to get the hang of this stuff : )


Ohhh, so it takes the static from those 4 lines and just shoots the electrostatic to ground?

yes, it was bad and it was shorting the line or lines to ground...
