[SOLVED] Macbook Pro 15" Retina A1398 POST only in SMC mode

Got this very dirty machine that gives no POST and off corse remain in black screen, I cleaned it up also with IPA can't see any corrosion or damaged components but still run only in SMC mode then I'm guessing its is an issue with the SMC but how do you troubleshoot SMC issues?

Apply some flux on SMC and heat to about 150ºC....

Some measurements first. What is PPBUS_G3H, I suspect corrosion around isl6259.

Isent it to low for reflow? If 150 is the correct temp for how long should i reflow it?

The heating did the trick though no boot on ssd so i turned it off and reset smc and its back to no POST once again..

Maybe to much crap under SMC, you need to reball the chip......

Got it done after heat on SMC and GPU (probably crap) works fine the last two hours...thanks a lot guys!
