what donor boards to stock?

I am trying to get a handle on which donor boards to stock. For example other than SMCs I am guessing I could stock just one model of macbook air boards to cover 2013 to 2017. What strategy do you guys use to cover your bases?

Depends what you get the most of. I get tons of Airs so I need Air donors. Depends what you see the most of.
