A method we use... An External SSD with various Apple OS installations.... Create one for testing purposes. Boot the external OS... Happy days

OK, this has worked for us. You need another Apple device and then recover via Target mode. If you search restoring a Apple OS in target mode on Google. It worked for us.

I have used Disc Drill Pro for Windows and Mac. Buy the Pro version as it will update for life. I used it at my Computer shop in Leicester UK before I. moved to the US.
