    820-4924... WTF?

Thank you for the help, D7710 showed low on pin 2 in diode mode, read about 0.150V. Definitely was shorted and found C7710 was shorting the rail. Thank you!

    820-4924... WTF?

No backlight board, board came to me with liquid damage, however very minimal, and the spill seemed to have not contact anything critical. Backlight circuit has no damage, neither does display connector. 0V on backlight output, started to diagnose with good working screen. I would get image...

    820-4924 No Backlight

I wonder if display is damaged internally then too? Very strange. This has basically been a very weird rabbit hole. I replaced U7700 and still same issues. Any other advice? Backlight flex (Do you mean keyboard backlight cable) was not being bent however, in anyway. This is an A1502, I know...

    820-4924 No Backlight

R7750 - 0.5 Ohm R7751 - 0.5 Ohm R7752 - 1.5 K Ohm R7753 - 1.6 K Ohm These seem normal? When I booted to OS X, Ive noticed very weird symptoms. It also told me how old and used the machine is, battery has 1200+ cycles lol. OS X Registers brightness keys, and keyboard backlight brightness...

    820-4924 No Backlight

Hello, 820-4924 with some water damage on the LVDS connector, replaced and still no backlight, pin 1 was frayed and bent, so I replaced it. That is the only known history on this board. Backlight circuit looks untouched. Tested with a 100% known working display, and the display had the bad LVDS...

820-3437 No POST, No Chime, No Video

UPDATE: Let this be a bookmark for anybody that has an issue like this. This was not a dead CPU/PCH at ALL! Check Wifi card and USB pins before final diagnosis! Board fully works now once J3501 was removed. EDIT: Could someone also give me an explanation on this as well? Thank you!

820-3437 No POST, No Chime, No Video

820-3437, liquid damaged Symptoms are very strange. Board will start up, and take around 400-600 mah, then restart (normal), then take another 400-600 mah, and then go to around 700-800 and stay there. We do have VCORE, and all other rails are present. No chime, No video (Externally or EDP)...

820-00928 Powers on, will run off battery, wont charge battery.

820-00928 Will run off charger alone, no battery connected, will run off battery, however when plugged into charger while on battery, it will say "Battery Is Not Charging". I used my USB-C meter, and the board will take 20.38V and 0.000-0.020 mah while plugged into the charger, and having the...

820-3536 Clean ME or BIOS needed

820-3536 Clean ME or BIOS needed

I dont have another keyboard yet, however I have a fully working motherboard of a 820-3476 and it produces the same issue. It could be the connector too not 100% sure however keyboard itself looks really good, no obvious signs of water damage yet original board did have some.

820-3536 Clean ME or BIOS needed

Update: Got my hands on a file, however this was misdiagnosed. I flashed a new bios and discovered the keyboard is not working properly. 5, T, H, and Space do not work. As well as E, D, C, and left command, hence why PRAM reset wasn't working. Does anyone know what keys respond to what...

820-3536 Clean ME or BIOS needed

820-3536 board Symptoms are will turn on, in a constant bootloop, chime every 3 seconds. SMC reset does work but nothing changes, PRAM reset does not work. I cannot find any 820-3536 files online, only 3476, are they the same?? Inspected board and some corrosion around U7200, and J6100...

    820-00426 Question about FDMF

So do these bad chips kill the CPU? how are the 6708/3030 chips different? Thank you btw

    820-00426 Question about FDMF

820-00426, symptoms are all power rails are present, board alone takes a little over an amp, and slowly rises CPU and GPU VCORE all present, as well as clean ME and reflashed BIOS chip, USB lights up but no activity. Im leaning this towards a dead cpu, however I just want to be sure. R to G on...
