A2442 820-02098 not charging

Hi,

I have an A2442 820-02098 that isn't charging; it doesn't even recognize that the charger is plugged in, saying that it is always on battery. It doesn't charge on any port (USB or magsafe).

Already tried with an original proper charger in all ports.

PPDCIN_AON = 0V and 0.538 on diode reading.

PPVBAT_AON_CHGR_REG = 11V.

PPBUS_AON = 11V

I can't see any damages on the board, and the client said it stoped charging without reason.

I don't know where to begin.

Can you help?

Hi.

No, It showed 19V in all ports, but now, after I've it disabled it, and on the bench, it's only showing 5V on the USBC ports.

PP3V3_S2 = 0V and 0.450 in diode reading
PP1V8_S2 = 0V and 0.258 on diode reading

PP3V3_UPC2_LDO = 3.4V

FG200 = 0V, when conected to UG400.

With the IR camera, UG400 seams to be hot, even when coinecting on other USBC ports.

Is it possible to replace just this CD3217B12, for one from China or do I need to replace all of them?

Can you help?

Hi.

I've replaced the burnt CD3217 (UG400).

Now I have 20V again, however the Mac isn't charging. It says that s always on battery.

Strangely, I left it overnight connected to the AC adapter, and in the next morning it was 100% charged, even saying the it was in battery and not recognizing the charger.

Any idea about what should I do?

Can anyone help?

What shows the USB-C meter?
You should be able to detect if battery is charging.

Does it turn on with charger alone (no battery)?

Hi.

It's not charging. In ampmeter I have 20V but 0.03A (but it charged overnight, even with this values when i shutit down. maybe it started working by it self and then stoped again in the night).

Without the battery connected it doesn't power on.

Right now, after disconnecting the battery to check if it powers on w/o battery, it only has 4.83V and 0.91A on ampmeter, even with the battey connected. However, it powers on.
