Came in with no power and noticed U3900 getting hot on bench power supply. When u3900 is replaced board boots again from bench power supply but when genuine charger is used u3900 shorts out and heats up again. Board is spotless. Not sure what to try next.

Yes 3.2v on 3V3_S5/SUS PM_PWRBTN_L is 3.3v and has a drop pulse when SMC_ONOFF_L is triggered. PCH side of CPU is warm on thermal cam

This board has no power and just randomly died according to customer. No liquid damage. Meter is at 20v 0.15 amps. PPBUS is 13v. Tried DFU but cannot get the machine into DFU mode. What should be checked next??

checking diode mode on L7660 found U7800 shorted. Replaced U7800, short is gone but have a pure short on PP1V8_SLPS2R. When injecting voltage only the T2 gets hot. Sound like a shorted T2 now??

The only difference in diode mode readings I can find is 0.172 on PP20V_USBC_R_VBUS, the only port that cycles the meter. The remaining PP20V lines are 0.130 Ive already replaced D3100 C3101_R U3100_R and D3305_CWR

Yes, onboard voltages fluctuates at same time with USB-C ampmeter. When a battery is connected, the meter does not come on at all, if it does its only for 1-2 seconds. Meter is on around 10 seconds without battery.

USB-C ampmeter goes on/off all AWAKE and SLPS2R voltages are present 0V G3s and SSD voltages

Must be a bad T2 then since that's the only thing that heats up on thermal cam. Noticed a short on pp3v0_mesa. Replaced U4910. Short is gone. 3.3v appears on FL4910 but 0v on C4916
