    820-01958 - No power - Power cycling 20V 1.7A

There is a different behaviour today, but I haven't done anything yet. It has now a power cycling on PLT_RST_L. It stays cycling for a few minutes and on the other mac where I have the Apple Configurator it keeps showing lock sign and cycling.

    820-01958 - No power - Power cycling 20V 1.7A

When left it in shell, it had the fan connected. CPU core voltage when it's hot is 1.8V and PLT_RST_L also 1.8V

    820-01958 - No power - Power cycling 20V 1.7A

I left it plugged to DC and battery for about 10 minutes. (I was with a customer and I forgot to disconnect) Now on DC I'm getting 20V and 2.02A. Heat Sink and surrounding is burning hot.

    820-01958 - No power - Power cycling 20V 1.7A

Sorry, I mixed the context above. 1.9A is with battery connected. PLT_RST_L - 0V - Without battery always 0V - With battery connected it happened once after a few minutes 1.8V cycles for less than a sec and on DC was 0.9 A. PP1V8_PRIM_PCH - 1.02V

    820-01958 - No power - Power cycling 20V 1.7A

    Fan spins for a second while it's cycling for a minute. After it stays on 20V, 1.9A. But sometimes if connect battery and power it will not cycle and goes straight to 20v, 39W, 1.945A All this coils. L9060 - PVCCSSD0_PHASE - 2.53V L7670 - PP5V_G3S - 5.10V L7690 - P3V3G3H - 3.29V L7030 -...

    820-01958 - No power - Power cycling 20V 1.7A

The customer stated that it suddenly stops to turn on. Trackpad clicks, but no display. No external video. All voltages were taken w/o the audio board connected. Caps lock has no reaction. USB activity (Light on the USB Stick turns on, but keeps cycling same as the board is doing)

    820-01958 - No power - Power cycling 20V 1.7A

Hi. Please I really need help with this. Can't figure out the issue. Here I have an 820-01958 that came with no power. After my first diagnostics found U7800 getting very hot. The voltage on the charger was 20v, varying from 2W to 3W and 0.200A. After replacing U7800 the voltages are. With...

A1398 - 820-00138 - No display and Fan on high speed.

After replacing U1950 the board started to get 1.77V on U7310/20/30. But the fan is still high speed and has no display. I've tested with another battery and same results. Something I've noticed is that even with the fan on high speed the heatsink is burning hot, but this happens with the...

A1398 - 820-00138 - No display and Fan on high speed.

Yes, the CPU is not getting any voltage and surely it will not boot. I just replaced it as a guess that MOSFETs was faulty. New MOSFETs are DC15AD - DMF3030. U1950 Pin 1 - 2.25V ~ 2.50V Pin 3 - 0V Pin 7 - 0V Pin 8 - 3.42V Just a doubt, does this board require a battery connected to turn on?

    A1990 No power

3 SSD Nands are getting warm/hot, and there was scorch marks on U9080. PP2V5_NAND_SSD0 is 1.5Ohms, removing U9080 and U9000 has made no difference to this resistance. After injecting 1V without the two SSD controllers present nothing gets hot So would it be accurate to say at this stage one...

    A1990 No power

Hi, I have an A1990 board 820-01041-A, no corrosion or liquid. The NANDs on the left (immediately are getting warm after 10 seconds or so, then get hot - no power. The trackpad was clicking, after trying DFU revive it doesn't click any longer. Board is taking 20V and bouncing between 0.1A and...

Yes, stays on and working. But doesn't charge the battery. The amp meter shows 5v, 0.2667A just when there is no battery. After connecting, the battery mac turns on and works fine, but the amp meter stays off.
