    [SOLVED]820-3115 - 1 and A keys not working.

Be aware that U5701 is a pretty princess and sometimes has intermittant failures. So this one may return, replace U5701 if it does come back.

Either bad TPS51125 or an overload on the 3v3_s5 rails.

A1466 820 3437 Board No Power , No Chime, No Fan Spin

No use in measuring Vcore if there is not even fan spin. Check all S4/S3 rails first if present then all S0 rails. S0_CPU will be the very last rail to come on and the fan should spin first.

    3787 Intermittent Black

No very few fit the bill as it needs the ZCD function on pin 1 and be at least 40A.

820-3330 fan turn but nothing more

No it is not the GPU there is no Vcore. You ca try another BIOS, but after that it is probably a bad CPU/PCH.

820-00928-A Wont boot to OSX (random shutdown)

Could be absolutely anything, corrosion under some chip, corroded resistor/trace. Common is a corroded pad under a QFP chip.

820-4924 wont power on while unplugged

PRAM reset done? Same issue when shorting the power pads on the board to rule out a bad keyboard. Check voltage on the power pads too.

    [SOLVED]820-3332 - changing serial number

You can never just edit the serial number manually. You should always correct the Fsys checksum if you do that. Better in this case would have been to either take the old BIOS and stick the ME region from the working board in front of it or take the Fsys block from the dead board and paste that...

820-3462-A - super slow - 300-600% High CPU usage on Kernal Task

Could still be crap under SMC or bad SMC. Also check all INA2** current sense chips for corroded pins as sometimes ASD will not pick that up.

    820-4924 no keyboard

Looks ok. L4803 may be suspect. Measure voltage on both sides with trackpad connected so there is a load on it. Have you also inspected the connector for damaged pins?

    820-3476 Dead CPU - Swap?

Too much top heat then. Or just an uneven heating element. Also heating it too slow will make it warp. CPU swaps are just a bitch.

Post-repair testing - how far do you go?

I test everything of course. Boot OSX, test all keys, test iSight, check battery status, set clock correct, check BT, WiFi. On machines with GPU run "Heaven" for a few minutes.

    2011 GPU "Repair"

New chips can be found, I have a few hundred at the moment so still good for another year or so. Option 1 and 2 are worthless, 3 may be ok.

    820-00244 a1534 2016 - “Issue with memory module”

Bad RAM/CPU/trace/balls/board. This is going to suck! If you are in EU Apple has 2 year warranty.
