    820-3662 Burning MagSafe

Thought that might be the case. I will test with the known good MagSafe board. Yes it’s a 85W tip wired up to the PSU, should the voltage input be set at 18.5 or 20V? I notice on the schematic it says 20V not 18.5 so that could be why the machine is not powering up normally.

    820-3662 Burning MagSafe

Hi everyone, i have a strange board in at the minute which ive never experienced before. When a magsafe adapter is connected it ends up burning out the two end pins on the MagSafe board and kills the charger. a little reluctant to plug in my charger as they are so bloody expensive! The...

    [SOLVED] No green light 820-4924

Hi, I get no green light on 820-4924. ISL area looks perfect for ref. On D7005 i get 0.02v on pin 1 which should be 16v+ Likewise for pin 2 its 0v. On Q7010 i do get voltage on pin 1 at 16v but I'm confused what the DCIN ISOL area is for and whether this is causing the issue? Any ideas? Thanks

[SOLVED]820-3115-B No Green Light (Ticking Noise)

Thanks for the info - U5010 looks good - PIN 5 SMC_RESET_L is 3.448 volts. History is apparently an iPhone charger was plugged in and it turned off. SMC Reset didn't work. Could this be the SMC affected?
