What else should I check? Edit: I mean it’s the same behavior in the AC2 before and after the short (made by me).

    So I have replaced the ISL .... im now getting 12.57V (PPBUS_G3H) again. (so yeah I fucked with that short my ISL - was kinda stupid :D) But here we go... PP1V8_G3S = 1.8V PP3V3_G3S = 3.3V I2C_SSD_SCL = 0.7V I2C_SSD_SDA = 1.8V Note: - Trackpad is clicking - In DFU mode PPBUS_G3H is 12.25V is...

    820-00850 (A1989) - PPBUS_G3H looping

I have accidentally shorted C7080 (PIN1 = PP1V8_SLPS2R) and C7021 (PIN1 = CHGR_CSI_P) with my multimeter tip ..... No short on PP1V8_SLPS2R or CHGR_CSI_P but now I only get 5.02V and 0.05A on all four USB-C ports .... Comparing the PP1V8_SLPS2R diode value to a good known board is the same...

    I have checked the SLPS2R + AWAKE (all present). PP1V2_AWAKE = 1.2V PP1V8_AWAKE = 1.8V PP3V3_AWAKE = 3.3V PPVDDCPUSRAM_AWAKE = 0.8V PPVDDCPU_AWAKE = 0.75V PP0V8_SLPS2R = 0.8V PP1V1_SLPS2R = 1.1V PP1V8_SLPS2R = 1.8V PPBUS_G3H = 12.57V (should be fine) USB-C Output = 19.4V / 0.04A (DFU Mode -...

    820-00850 (A1989) - PPBUS_G3H looping

Hi, PPBUS_G3H is looping between 12.25 and 12.57V on an A1989 (820-00850). Also the output of the USB-C ports are weird. - 19.4V - 0.00-0.04A I assume the CD3215s are fine because I get 20V, right? What should I check next?

    A1989 (820-00850-A) - No Image/No Backlight

Hi, I have here an A1989 with no image/no backlight. Water damage: -> water_damage.png Note: - External display shows image - so the internal GPU is working fine. - " EDP_INT_AUX_N " = 0.007 (diode mode) / 3.4ohms to ground - Is the CPU bad? - Heat shield on LCD getting warm (IMG_0615.jpg) -...

Hi Morten, thanks for your reply! :) Sadly the topcase got already replaced by apple, the issue is still there. No important data on it, so I have a new donor board. :)

LCD, TouchBar and TouchID (board) disconnected but it won’t show up anything on the external display. Now I have the TouchBar and TouchID (board) disconnected but it’s the same behavior while restoring via “Internet Recovery” - Result Error -2003F.

A2159 (820-01598) - Cant restore system via USB or internet recovery

Tried it but still won't show up in "Disk Utility" or via command "sudo diskutil list". Yeah DFU restore is working fine :/ After the restore I get a "question mark" symbol, which is normal. When I connect an USB drive (with macOS installer on it, used the tutorial from apple) why does it go...

Picture "4.jpg" is the U3701 (WiFi/BT Chip). Yeah I can enable the "Target Disk mode" (via "T") but the disk wont show up on my second mac (MacBook Pro M1). Already checked in hard disk utility only the internal SSD of the working mac is available. Note: Connected via OEM apple cable (not THB).
