    This system is running 11.4, which I believe is the newest version. SMC and PRAM reset apparently works with 2016/2017 MBP but this is an older L2013 A1398.

    Did PRAM reset, SMC reset, completely drain and then charge to full overnight, SMC reset again, PRAM reset again. No change.

    Webcam is disconnected. Only Magsafe and LVDS display connector attached, board is out of case on desk. Fans spin up after magsafe connected, then turn off after 8 seconds or so, then turn on again and ramp up to full blast. No image, USB power but no acivity to drive connected.
