I organiced a known good board and took the original UC710 on my board - same behavior as with TPS621351RXG with 2.5MHz. The Voltage drops down to 2.4V after 10-15 Seconds.
Then i took an TPS621351RXG on the known good board - works perfect. So you can definitely use the TPS621351RXG as a...
I tried two chips:
TPS621351RXG with 2.5MHz nominal switching frequency
TPS62136 with 1MHz nominal switching frequency
Both chips initially provide 3.3V for P3V3S2_SW. After 10-15 seconds the voltage drops down. With the 2.5MHz chip to 2.4V and with the 1MHz chip to 0.8V.
Then the board keeps...
I am looking for a replacement ic for UC710 SN621371 VQFN. I can't find any Datasheet for SN621371 VQFN to search for a replacement ic.
I found TPS621351RGXT which seems to be similar, but without Datasheet of SN621371 its not possible to compare.
The first time i was working on this board it had kernel panic issues and was always rebooting. It was an apple refurbished board in bad condition. There was a long screw in a short hole on the left side of J8500 and the right side of J6600. The BIOS U6100 had a short to GND at pin8. I changed...
I'm working on a 820-00165-A.
Without battery PPBUS_G3H is 8.56V.
With battery (no charger) PPBUS_G3H is 7.23V
With battery and charger PPBUS_G3H is 7.20V climbing slowly up to 8.14V (maybe more after long time)
The machine is booting with and without battery. The battery is charging,
Do you...
I'm working on a 820-00840-A that had a lot of water damage. Description from customer "no more reaction. Water damage - the device was for a short time submerged in water".
After fixing all the damaged areas finally PP3V3_S0 was missing. I changed U7650 to fix this.
The board have 20V and uses...
I'm working on a 820-02020-A that had a lot of water damage. After fixing all the damaged areas finally i had a short on PP3V3_S2_WLBT_ISNS in UL000. So i removed UL000 and the board was booting. Then i changed the UL000 from a Donor. The board is still booting but the machine don't work with...
Sorry, there is a mistake in my first comment ...
The shorted rail is SPKRAMP_INT_L and not SPKRAMP_RESET_L. Here the correct values ...
SPKRAMP_RESET_L = low, diodemode is 0,512
SPKRAMP_INT_L = low, diodemode is 0,002
I'm afraid your answer is still the same
This MB had a liquid damage at the audio-board and did get a new Audio board and flex cable.
But there is no output at the internal speakers. Output headphone is ok.
SPKRAMP_RESET_L = low, diodemode is 0,512
SPKRAMP_RESET_L = low, diodemode is 0,002
I removed U6400, C6103 and the flexcabel to...
I'm back working at this board. Thanks for the explanation of the l-signals, that helps me a lot for better understanding.
The customer gave me this information ...
"When using Final Cut Pro, we always had the case that the system was very slow, leading to a crash (complete freezing). This...
I'd like to understand it a bit more - can you explane me what he is doing at step3 of the DFU recover mode? He tells me that he is unpacking something. Does it mean that the download of the Firmware is finished and he writes it to the SSD of the target MB? Or what is he doing there?
DFU mode using SWV011 and RV020 works.
DFU restore stops at step 3 of 4 with this message (translated from german):
The system cannot be recovered on this device.
The operation could not be completed. There is no file or folder of this type [NSPOSIXErrorDomain - 0x2 (2)]
I don't get the DFU icon on the screen.
I only get the padlock icon.
The M1 still runs into the startup options while pressing the keys for DFU-Mode
any tip what I can do
I have a 820-00875 with a burned hole under the caps C8503 and C8504.
I fixed this and the board is running. Only these two caps are still missing.
Can I leave out the capacitors or are they important? The pads of PPVOUT_S0_LCDBKLT are completely gone.
I got now the Password from the Customer and did some tests. Whatever i do - The board runs automatically in the "Startup Options" (like it normally does by pushing the powerbutton while booting).
There it shows the int. SSD and the Options-Button. Also it shows ext. SSDs which are connected on...
