i got new cable and screen, replaced the lcd connector on the board, there is picture but no backlight
replaced the backlight chip too
i think the issue could be the SMC
Q9807 pin 2 is 3.3V pin 5 is 0V
Q9806 pin 3 is 12V which i think should be less than 12V to open, its a PNP transistor...
thanks for response. multimeter shows me 002 , on MOSFET with I disconnect from circuit by removing one coil side is 12V when coil connected full short and 0V. I was tried to find some mosfet connected to this rail found one, removed and is same. I will try find schematic with will be similar.
Hi,
Do anyone have a schematic diagram for this iMac? main board 820-00134-A.
We got one with is dead checked voltage from power supply 12V ok 3.3V ok, no probe lights on board, 3,3V on power button ok.
what I found was faulty bios battery and second is short on 12 V line on this partly removed...
backlght chip area bit water damaged, no too bad, i replaced the chip, the lcd connector, fuse, the laptop works with ext monitor.
The lcd is not recognised,
Q9807 2. pin is high 3.3V which means that the backlight is not enabled by SMC, so the quiestion why it doesn recognise the LCD?
actually i found a soultion, in terminal, type ditto , then the folder from and to, and works, but unfortunately the SSD disappears after like 5 mins of copying, but i was able to that the destination folder was growing with files
What is the best way to make data backup from a macbook air SSD, which is working, it has like 45gb files, and it looks like most them are good, readable, but there is maybe 1000 bad files, like music or whatever files, so probably i can copy like 95% of all the data, but the finder always stops...
yes its 21 ohm now, but it was 21ohm before, that was the first thing i checked, than i reballed and replaced the SMC, than the resistor went out, i replaced it, sothat part is ok now.
what i found is L5001, the pin after it was corroded, so the 3.4V did not come trough, it looks like that is...
i replaced r7121, now its 10 ohm both resistors, but same issue
also i checked them before, even in the original post i mentioned them, they were both good, r7121 burnt later during diagnosis

Check resistance between pìns 17/18 and 27/28 at U7100.
Also post voltage for pins 9 & 15.
so..
resistance between pìns 17/18 3.4ohm
resistance between pìns 27/28 174ohm
voltage for pins 9 & 15., both 0V
g3h is stable 8.58V, i have 3.3V 3.4V, green light on the charger
