So okay got this done. Bt apple services are still an issue. Well at least FaceTime and iMessage. I tried both my old install and also a fresh install I put on an external SSD. What happens is with iMessage I can sign in like normal but after like 10s I get thrown into the login screen again...

Should I also do a reinstall after flashing the new one? though I might have to do this anyway as the new EFI probably has no APFS support…

So swapped it with another machine. Didn’t help.

Well this doesn’t work... Without the internal LCD connected it gets to the apple logo but about half way through it just looses image on the external monitor. Also the lcd is most likely not the fault as I tested it on another machine and it worked fine...

Unlikely they'll do anything as the screen has some liquid damage. It didn't affect the board though. I bought it like that 2nd hand... Any idea what could be causing this board level?
