Hi, have this really tough A1425 2012 retina board. It won't recognise a SSD even with a know good drive and known good caddy. All power lines at J4500 are present as expected. How do I properly check the data lines?

Need an SMC for an 820-3462A A1425 2012 13" Retina. Cant find a thing though.. Well there is one sketchy vendor from aliexpress selling a scapulas board with SMC for 45USD but he won't ship to Germany. And the people on Ebay selling SMCs just sell useless blank chips... Any idea where I can get...

He sadly didn't have any ones for this model MacBook Pro. Found one on AliExpress for 45$ with an SMC though they only ship to the US for some reason

So removed the SMC! Was a bit hesitant to do this but it came off perfectly! And Diode Mode reading have changed... I now get: C6999 - .323 C6990 - .376 Better?

Saw nothing unusual, injected 4V and got a draw of nearly 900mA. The SMC does get very hot, normal?

Update: Out of absolutely nowhere PPBUS_G3H collapsed to 1.8V. Left the board sitting with power for like 1 minute and now this.... R6920 shows a burn mark on it though im not sure if that's new... No more light on the charger. I didn't do anything to the board what so ever

Yup used a genuine 85w one and it was always used with a 60w genuine one according to the owner. PM_BATLOW_L is 0V SMC_PM_G2_EN is 0V PPBUS_G3H is 12.64V Hope That helps!
