    Thank you. We've tried it again with a cleaned ME region and while it did manage to boot into an installation media, the installation of High Sierra took ages. The system now only boots to 90% and stays there indefinitely.

    The board powers on fine but gets stuck with around 70% on the boot progress bar. The fans also gradually start spinning to a far higher RPM than normal. After a short while, it then simply reboots. Alt + D doesn't show any issues. Any ideas?

    I have 0v on 3v42_g3h without battery on Q7010 pin 1-3 0v, pin 4 16,26v - 15,99 is not stable, pin 5 and 6 have 16,46 v drop down every second to 16,2.

    when i connect a charged battery it turns on and works perfectly, but adapter-sense has 0V, no green light and CHGR_AGATE_DIV is 16v, otherwise no power on any lines with a magsafe connected. PPDCIN_G3H is there.

    What can it be? the SSD has power, but it's not seen, can't boot from external either because the USB C dock doesn't get any power from the board and doesn't turn on. any ideas?

    Now, we changed the SMC and the short is gone. Still 5v on the charger tho.. I noticed that all ports except one draws about 150mA. Only one is drawing just 11mA. Does that tell us somethng ? or is it irrelevant

    No it doesnt.. i noticed that that line has 0.5 ohm resistance to ground.. thats a short right?

    board with water damage, it takes 1.4 Amp, turns on and shows an empty battery sign, but doesn't charge the battery(or a new battery) and then turns off and goes to 0 Amp, what is SMC bypass mode? How can I try the SMC bypass mode?

    This board is showing 5.2V on the charger. The USB C Controllers have already been replaced and the issue persits. What do you check/how do you find the responsible port? And what could be some more possible causes?
