Hi guys, the machine doesn't recognize the battery and partially working with the charger connected - shut down sometimes. I cannot located the TB3T sensor on the schematics and brd file.
Can someone please direct me to its location? Thanks
The GPU showed random failures so it was replaced. The machine was stress tested overnight (connected to a charger) and worked smoothly.
When running on battery it experienced random restarts and the error above. That is the only error ASD shows.
C9560 is measured at 1.55V (should it be measured...
Thank you. One line from the two was cut and fixed. Now PPBUS measured at 12.7V, the device finally runs.
It is getting into sleep mode randomly and ASD shows only one error with VP0R sensor, which is measured too low
I guess you meant those 2 current sensing circuits, resistors R7020 and R7050 - those are measured at 0 ohm, as they should I think. R7005 is measured at 20 ohm so those look to be alright
PPBUS was measured with the charger connected, no battery attached.
My bad, I meant:
ppvcore_s0_cpu=1.1v , ppvcore_s0_axg=0v , pp1v05_s3_cpu_vccdq=1.5v , pp1v05_s0_cpu_vccpqe=1.05v ,PPVCCSA_S0_CPU=0.8V
Hi guys,
The board stuck in an SMC_RESET loop, keeps on restarting every 2 seconds. Power pads don't work (shutting it down I mean). Had water damage over the U5750, U7000 area. Both were replaced.
Concerning voltage, everything seems to be right and present. A hint anyone?
Thanks
Thank you. Diode mode on pin 17 and 19 of trackpad connector = 0.597V when Airport cable is disconnected. Also the Mac works perfectly fine like that. R5270 = 0.998 Kohm, R5271 = 0.952 Kohm. R5271 allows 5% deviation - right on the border. Could that be it or should I look elsewhere?
Louis, thanks for your reply.
Replaced the trackpad with the trackpad cable, the same problems above now apear randomly - after a few minutes, they come and go.
ASD shows only the "SMC: SMC PID Sensor check - The SMC's PID Sensor check has been tripped" error. Hope it's not the SMC chip.
In PBUS...
ASD shows the following problems:
Temperture (Ts0P) - unable to read sensor
SMC: SMC PID Sensor check - The SMC's PID Sensor check has been tripped
Thanks for the help guys
