    820-3115 no chgr_acok

You are in S0 state but missing PP1V05_S0. You will not have all_sys_pwrgd without It. Not sure but it looks like you are measuring resistance with power applied. I don't have a board in front of me to compare but I think 4,5 ohms on the missing rail is low. If no short look around U7780 see...

820-4924 Powers Up But No Chime or Display

You could confirm for short directly on smc while removed by testing on gnd and pp3v42_g3h balls. So you don't need to reball and solder it back to finally confirm the short.

    [SOLVED]820-4924-A USB issue

They seem close enough (5.3V-0.22pF), but are you sure this what's preventing usb from not working? They act like transient voltage suppressor/esd and rf interference stuff...look for further damage, do you get 5v on L4605 pin 2 and check continuity on L4600 filter.

    820-3476 has PM_SLP_S4_L, and all PP5v Rails

Hi Titotinton, yes start checking power rails from S5. And see if any is missing or shorted, pulsing,...

    820-3476 has PM_SLP_S4_L, and all PP5v Rails

Is the battery ok? I think these 820-4924 boards need a connected battery to start. You can disconnect internal keyboard and try external USB if you want to rule out bad kbd. 60w original magsafe charger? No short on power rails? Witch one is missing starting from S5.

    820 3476 no green light no PP3V42_G3H

You are probably and simply still having a partial short somewhere on the line. While you were replacing u7090 and smc (after removing old chip and before putting new one) did the short went away? Is the new esmc still burning?

    820-2879 restoring after liquid.

First check at least if power rails are present in each state starting as Duke said from S3 and if present look further for S0. Yes only 3 rails on S3, search for PP1V5R1V35_S3, PP3V3_S3 and PP5V_S3, no need to verify yet if S3 subrails are present at each chip, they are all tied together...

    820-3115 Does Not Regognize Battery

Pin 17-18 0.04 ohms between them, it looks like your pins are shorting together, make sure U7000 is properly soldered and check again resistance between pins 17-18. It should be close to 2.2-4.5ohms. If U7000 doesn't run well it will not output SMC_BC_ACOK (CHGR_ACOK) and this will prevent...

    820-3476 IPBR sensor (BMON)

Oh sorry, you want me to measure power rail and compare it with VP0R reading: With battery only (fully charged) and EFI 3S162 loaded, I have 12.25V measured with my multimeter on PPBUS_G3H while EFI reads VP0R at 12.232V. Don't know it it's of interest but I do measure 12.56V with multimeter on...

    820-3476 IPBR sensor (BMON)

No Title I checked other sensors and they are all in spec as shown in pictures. IPBR is the only one high but still within the range. Maybe the smc internal converter the one specific for battery monitor?

    820-3476 IPBR sensor (BMON)

I gave a slight reflow to smc but nothing changed, and i can assure every single pad is gold on this board, nothing went inside smc. Still IPBR error while hardware profile showing a value within the acceptable range [0 - 1,5]A ... I replaced ISL6259 just to make sure, but still IPBR error with...

    820-3476 IPBR sensor (BMON)

Yes this has nothing to do with battery, tested with another one. Ok I will give a slight reflow to smc even if board looks immaculate this will eliminate one variable, and replace ISL if no result with reflow. Didn't had time today for this board, except that I ran again EFI and now it's...

    820-3476 IPBR sensor (BMON)

This board had a very small unique spot of water on bottom side near audio chip. The rest of the board is intact, I replaced keyboard because some keys were not working anymore. Laptop works perfectly but with EFI I have IPBR over high limit error when only battery. When battery +charger...

[SOLVED]820-3437 Liquid damaged - Sensors issue

Indeed after charging battery VP0R error didn't show up anymore. Yes it was display error Test 2. I was using external lcd because earlier, board was very far from life. I finally tried an lcd and discovered I had no backlight, image present. A5 ball was semi exploded with crap, the pad was ok...

[SOLVED]820-3437 Liquid damaged - Sensors issue

This board had liquid damage, I saw red points and destroyed test points near one side of SMC, it looks like liquid spread out on all the board both sides but no heavy corrosion. The board was spinning only once for 4-5 seconds and just stop. There was no usual RTC cycling (on/off, on/off and...

    820-4924 no backlight

Problem inside lcd connector? Are you sure you are probing the 3rd leg of connector not the pad? If you have a spare lcd cable you can connect it and check again diode mode from R7750 to pin 4 on the other end of cable. EDIT: I realized and think lcd connector has nothing to do with higher...

820-00164 no power, weird behavior on PPBUS-G3H

If ppbus_g3h 8,6v is present and you have green/orange light, you should go further by checking other power rails. do you have S5 power rails, S4, S3?

820-00164 no power, weird behavior on PPBUS-G3H

You are maybe looking at F7700 whitch is another fuse for ppbus_g3h near backlight circuit. There is another fuse right in the begining of PBUS_G3H it's F7140, and before this fuse there is a coil L7130, check the fuse and measure PPBUS on the coil and the fuse.

    820-4924 no backlight

Not sure if ok, someone maybe can compare with another board, your diode mode on pin3 seems high. R7750 measuring 0 ohms? And resistance of R7751?

    820-00165 PPBUS-G3H short to ground

Do you have another I/O board to test with? When the board doesn't boot with I/O board cable plugged in, what is pp3v42_g3h and ppbus_g3h? Inspect J9500 connector, maybe a signal is pulled down when you plug the cable... Inspect also connector on the I/O board but better to test with a known...
