i replaced the super drive and is still causing long chime times. any particular line i should check or just check them all?

okay weird one here. i swapped the bios turned on fast. put it back together and 5 minute chime. one by one i connected and its the super drive that is causing this.

have you tried with known good ssd or external boot? as far as i know flashing folder is os corruption.

you think its the cable? usually if bad cable itll chime but no boot. this isn't even chiming till 4-5 minutes replaced cable. same issue

So i don't know what i did. have a 820-3115 that had a bad hard drive. computer was booting up but stuck apple logo halfway on startup. checked the hard drive, diagnosied it bad so i upgrade to ssd and transfer the data with my data recovery equipment. i plug in the ssd today and now i only get...

was testing without battery, charger only. haven't tried external osx

all point have continuity . ive replaced the trackpad and flex as well. was the first thing i did.

1- 3.06 10-5.095 13-3.422 (this was the pp3v42 line) tested on the trackpad itself

its okay. i found out the problem pbus is slightly off. that lead me to checking r5280 pin 2 being short. smc and u7000 need to be replaced no?

everything looks good on the board, no liquid no damage. 820-3462. does not dectect battery, when you unplug magsafe turns off. tried with new battery same results
