3462 no battery

everything looks good on the board, no liquid no damage.

820-3462. does not dectect battery, when you unplug magsafe turns off. tried with new battery same results

its okay. i found out the problem pbus is slightly off. that lead me to checking r5280 pin 2 being short. smc and u7000 need to be replaced no?

You have a problem on battery bus.
No more than 1% difference between SCL/SDA is allowed; more likely less than 0.5%.
First remove D6950.
If still bad, remove U7000 and check again diode mode to ground.
Remember, do NOT power up the board until find the culprit.
Last option, if still SDA short to ground, pull out SMC.
Be sure the short is gone and solder other SMC, from donor board...
