Board in DFU mode, no corrosion.
After unsuccessful restore show error 4014.
"4014 - Unexpected reset. Might be caused by T2 RAM error, power rail failure or even a bad battery.
History: Client left MacBook for long period of time so battery voltage was too low to be charged.
Battery replaced...
Board had small liquid damage on C8101 (PPBUS was shorted, replaced cap and there is no short). U7210/30 are affected by liquid as well.
Detected in DFU and restore done without any errors.
No chime, no light on caps lock.
Board only connected to charger have 20V and 0.08A (CPU get lettile...
Cant find and corrosion on the board.
At the start I had 5V from charger.
Tried to "revive" in DFU and had error 21.
Tried restore and had error 4014.
I reflashed SoC ROM and have 20V from charger but still cant restore it.
Error 4014.
Looks like faulty NAND?
Cant find any corrosion on the board.
Tried three batteries and on all of them have the issue.
Mac drain battery when in sleep or even turned off.
In the evening battery level around 60% and in ther morning battery is 0%.
Same issue will three batteries.
I removed the board, connected battery...
Customer tried replace battery on his own.
I found one of the UB400 had short on PP3V3_UPC_TB_LDO.
Replaced UB400 and it boot now but no KBD/TPAD
Tried with known good TPAD with flex and same issue.
I found there was no diode mode readings on J6701/17 (TPAD_3V3_SPI_EN).
Replaced U6855 and...
Board with heavy liquid damage for data recovery.
Every couple of seconds there is tiny amp spike on charger.
U3100/200 LDOs have correct voltages.
PPBUS 12.26V
PP3V3_G3H 3.30V
U7000:

VDDA 5.12V
VDDP 5.12V
AMON 0V
BMON 0V...
Got 5V on charger and 0A, every few seconds it go to around 0.25A (so should switch to 20v) and then back to 0A.
Cant find any corrosion.
PPBUS 0.02V (0.440 in diode mode)
Removed F7000 and still on F7000/1 got 0.02V.
All diode valus on LDOs around all CD3215 are correct.
Voltages are correct...
Cant find any liquid damage.
Have 20V on charger it charge the battery.
At the beginning after power button press there was no chime and after 2-3 minutes there was short max fan spin and the same issue in loop.
Entered in DFU, tried restore and had error 10.
PP2V5_NAND_SSD0/1 have correct...
No liquid damaged.
Found fried U8209, U7650 (P5VS4_SW had short and pad was fried), U8400 and there was short to ground on F7000/2.
Then found U7600 was getting hot.
All of that has been replaced.
Short on PPBUS is gone and there was 5V from charger and then it switch 20V for split second...
MacBook works fine when powered by battery.
When charger connected board get hot (battery is charging), fans on max and after minute or two it switch off.
When charger connected mosfet get very hot - used thermal camera.
So depends what port is connected then QB400, QB300, Q3100 or Q3200 gets...
