820-3330 No Sound on Internql Speaker

Hi Team, This machine came because the owner has broken his headphone jack inside the J6700 I've removed the connector and succeed to took out the debris, but to desolder J6700, I had to remove all the ZD, Capacitors, resistances in the area to apply a big amount of solder. When I resoldered...

    820-00165 PPBUS at 1V

Hi 2Informaticos, just to update you, I replaced Q7180 and rebuit some traces around R7180 and R7181 and I had a nice PPBUS at 8.58V. Unfortunately the WD went to the CPU, which directely fried when I had ppbus present, I had smoke coming out of the PCH. Maybe directely shorted to CPU. so good...

    820-3332 no video/backlight

Hi 2Informaticos, you were right the fuse was blown again, so I replaced it. After what PPVOUT_SW_LCDBKLT was mesuring 55V which means that the backlight boost circuit is working. I've tried a spare lcd: worked fine So I disassembled the faulty LCD, then I've found that it had a WD + burn and...

    820-3332 no video/backlight

Yes red probe on ground. Ppbus_g3h solid 12,5V That why I think the fuse was blown, maybe U9701 randomly shorting lcdblkt_fused rail to gnd or having dropping the resistance of that rail close to gnd (low r?sistance to gnd)

JohnB8812 : Yes resoldered the pins with good flux and solder 2informaticos: In diode mode without LCD Connected: D9701 to gnd: Pin1: 0.880V Pin2: 1.191V and the same reading with LCD Connected:

    820-3332 no video/backlight

Hi Team, This machines starts, chimes but no display on internal or external screen. Checked and noticed that F9700 was blown, so I replaced it, after what PPBUS_S0_LCDBKLT_FUSED was present but still no backlight display. LCD_BKLT_EN: 0V disconnected the screen at J9000 and tested again on...

Hi 2Informaticos, I'm back with that board and I'm very surprised that it's turning ON when I short the power pads now.......why????? ni idea Just Noticed that the Fan spins at full speed, I will reassemble it and run the corresponding ASD to check if any sensor is alarming..........except if...

    820-3115 must short power pads

I've scratched the Vsense Pad shown with the arrow, and check for continuity to the R5488/89: NOK So I decided to put some solder there for attaching a wire, after putting solder, I mesured the continuity again and was OK, but still shuting itself down. Reflowed SMC, then I've lost PPBUS...

    820-3115 must short power pads

At Q5480 it looks like that all the voltages are OK, as well as both voltage dividers 1: GND 2: 3.307V 3: 12.58V 4: 12.58V 5: 6.270V 6: GND if you do the calculation of the output voltage divider it should give 2.099V and I'm mesuring 2.104V My guess is that the trace may be broken between...

Hi 2Informaticos, I've run ASD, this one went alsmost to the end ( Memory 62 Test ) but the board turned OFF approximatively 15 mins running with Fan at full speed. In the mean time ASD poped up with PBUS Voltage Sense & Enable (VP0R) in red claiming that the PBus voltage was under the lower...

    820-3302 Not turning ON

When I short SMC_ONOFF_L to gnd, PM_PWRBTN_L react and drops to 0.3V but none of the PM_SLP_S5/4/3 reacts they just mesure 0V dead u1800? or ,need a reflow?
