820-3437 snapped female screw hole off board. How to reattach?

While attaching the fan to the edge of the board I over tightened the screw and the female hole side that is attached to the board snapped off. What would be the best way to reattach it to the board? I know superglue is frowned upon, so is there a epoxy that would work better? Should I solder it...

I am looking at a Macbook Air A1466 and after close inspection it looks to me like the LP8550 has a few balls fused together. The Macbook still booted up using an external monitor. Can the LP8550 be bad while still being able to boot using an external monitor? Or is the chip actually good...

    Amtech Flux Plunger??

You are right there is a plunger but no "stick." I found a good solution though. I found a few smaller suernges that I can use and so I split the Flux up into the smaller parts so that way I have more control over how much i am using.

    Amtech Flux Plunger??

ok I ended up just using the smaller plunger but it started to just ooze out the back and then i just used that to goop it onto the board with a Q-tip. This is my first time using flux that works and wow I love it. The solder just goes onto the pad!! What a concept!!

    hot air station

I have been trying to find a good comparison of the FR-810 and the WHA900 and you are the only person who has spoken to that. Louis dose a great demo of the WHA 900 but to my knowledge has not posted a video where he uses the FR-810 side by side with the WHA900. For the low price + good quality...

Microscopes between a fixed wide field and stereo zoom?

For starting out doing both laptop mother board repairs and phone logic boards is it better to have a AmScope SE400-Z type microscope or would an AmScope 7X-45X with Stereo Zoom be a better choice? Basicly would it be to have a fixed wide field of view or a stereo zoom option? If I used a...
