2016/2017 Black screen on MacBook Pros

Any ideas on a fix for this issue? I've heard it's a cable which makes sense because it's affected by moving that display back farther, but I'm not seeing anything change with a cable swap. Could it possibly be the cables that are attached directly/permanently to the LCD itself?

Someone (from the forum) reported a psroblem with the connector from the attachment.
He had problems in A1706, with 820-00239 MLB.
Do you note some improvement if press that connector?

Unfortunately, this issue is the cables that are attached to the LCD itself. People are calling it "Flexgate". It's another Apple fuckup

Yes, I had no luck putting pressure on the two connectors. Thanks for the info.
