820-00045 Cycling

This board is cycling. PPVCC_S0_CPU cycling every 2 seconds or so. PPBUS is stable at 8.7V. USB-C is at 20V. It isn't a spill. I can't find any shorts. PPVCC_S0_CPU is at 80 Ohms to ground. Any thoughts on where to go next with this?

It will end on the bin I suppose, like all these boards.
Be sure all secondary voltages try to appear.

Try SMC bypass, to discard a sensor issue.

Ahhh, I was hoping this might be the one that got fixed. Silly. All voltages are coming up. So is this just a variation on the CPU being dead?

I think is better do NOT accept these boards at all.
We can waste lot of time to start one, and finally ends with failing SSD, or CPU in warranty.

Yes, for sure. This one is for a friend of mine who is desperately trying to recover his data so I was hoping to get it going for him. But in general, like many of the new ones, these seem like a waste of time.
