820-00165-A coloured vertical lines on screen

This machine had liquid spill. It chimes but no apple logo.
Screen quickly illuminates but is divided in 2 horizontally with lots of fine coloured lines across the entire area.
I've tried connecting an external screen (monitor), but there is nothing being displayed on it.
There is noticeable corrosion around U7701 and R7715 area

Sounds like bad screen for me.
Test another known good LCD assembly.
External video may not appear before login to OSX, so give it time.

Will a screen from a 2011 A1369 work for testing, or are they different to the A1466?

Great. I've tried that screen from the A1369 and it works!
Now to find a replacement for the original.
