hello,
can someone help me with this board please im new in this and i cant figure out what is wrong with this board,
i have already tried another DC in board, i have only a dimmed green light on the charger almost invisible

i have done some measurements:

PPBUS_G3H = 8.58V

PP3V42_G3H = 3.41V

PPBUS_G3H_R = 8.59V

PP18V5_DCIN_ISOL_R = 16.64V

SMC_RESET_L = 3.38V

J7000 = pin 1 and 2= 16.66V

j7000 = pin 3 =0V

Welcome to the forum!

Did you try known good LIO flex too?
Inspect J9500 solders, especially pins 19/21.

Board must turn on without LIO flex connected; no Magsafe light, of course.
Do you get 3V3_S5/SUS?

hello,
no i did not try an new flex cable because i dont have one, J9500 pins look perfect i see nowhere corrosion or something,
what else can it be? does the PP18V5_DCIN_ISOL_R have to be around 18v? because i have 16.6V can this be the issue?

I cant find the 3V3_SUS thats why i thought that you mean maybe sys? But i didnt find it either, can you tel me where it is located on the board?

Post PM_RSMRST_L, PM_PWRBTN_L, PCH_DSWVRMEN, PM_DSW_PWRGD and PM_BATLOW_L.
Trigger SMC_ONOFF_L (use R5115/16 pads) and check for drop pulse at same time on PM_PWRBTN_L.
If yes, check for pulse at all PM_SLP_Sx_L signals too.

hello, sorry for the late reply. these are the measurements.

PM_RSMRST_L = measured on R8133 3.19V

PCH_DSWVRMEN= R1450 3.02V

PM_DSW_PWRGD = R1451 3.41V

PM_BATLOW_L = Q3000 3.31V

PM_PWRBTN_L, 3.40V when pressed drops to0.35V

PM_PWRBTN_L is 3.4V and when SMC_ONOFF_L triggered the voltage drops to 0.35V

PM_SLP_S0_L = 0.4V and when SMC_ONOFF_L triggered the voltage stays the same

PM_SLP_S3_L = is always 0V

PM_SLP_S4_L = is always 0V

PM_SLP_S5_L = is always 0V

PM_SLP_SUS_L = is always 3.3V

More likely the problem is on PCH side, if you don't get reaction at PM_SLP_S5_L at least.
Check first all RTC signals, RTC_RESET_L, PCH_SRTCRST_L, PCH_INTRUDER_L and PCH_INTVRMEN.
Also see what happens when U1930 is removed.

RTC_RESET_L = 3.31V
PCH_SRTCRST_L = 3.30V
PCH_INTRUDER_L = 2.95V
PCH_INTVRMEN 3.31V

i have removed the u1930 but what for changes should i be looking for?
i will have to order new U1930 because its damaged

Sorry, I mixed posts and schematics.
Remove U8130 and check if you get voltage on big coils.
No need to solder U1930 yet, for test.
If you get at leat pulsing at 5V and RAM coils, then need to solder U1930.

i did remove the U8130 but there was no difference, i did see some corrosion around Q8150 but i have cleaned it all can the issue be there?

i have removed it but still the same..i think i will pass on this board and use it just for parts because i have one more board that is working but only the backlight is not working. when i turn on the macbook the backlight voltage is slowly dropping from 19V to 8.49V..
and i have already replaced the backlight driver.

Please open new thread for other board; even if is same model.
Different problem must be treated separately.
